"I’ve been failing in my duty when it comes to supporting Countryside and have to put my hands up and say it’s been a fair old whack of time since I saw them last. One thing that hasn’t changed though, they are still a brilliant band; Countryside epitomize professionalism in every aspect of their music and in the band themselves. Their songs are epic, building and developing; two part harmonies, one high and one deep, merge together to create vocals that soar above the music. Countryside create a fluid sound full of beauty and depth; the music layers up, the more layers you peel back, the more there is. The music is atmospheric, yet there is something dark and broody lurking below edging to get out. Their sound is intense, full of colour and life; it is chilled, yet energetic at the same time, it chops and changes before your eyes and brings you into their world. Countryside are quite frankly unique."
